The Reed & Christine Halladay Executive Lecture Series will feature Richard Wilson, owner of Wilson Diamonds, this coming Thursday, March 26 in the Ragan Theater. The presentation will begin at noon.
Wilson got into the diamond business while he was still in his undergraduate program at BYU in an effort to finance his schooling. Wilson graduated in microbiology and chemistry and initially planned to open a genetics lab. Thirty-four years later, Wilson is still in the diamond business and is the largest jeweler in Utah Valley. Wilson sits on several advisory boards for national jewelers organizations and is a charter member of the American Gem Society.
The Woodbury School of Business hosts the weekly Executive Lecture Series. It brings fascinating successful business and community leaders to UVU to share their business experiences and make recommendations to students as they prepare for their careers. The event is free and is open to all students, to the faculty and to the public.
