UVU Entreprenurial Conference to be Held April 17

"How high do you want to grow?" That's the simple question Jay Abraham asks his clients when helping them assess the future of their companies.

As the United States struggles through its worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, Abraham, founder and CEO of Abraham Inc., has proven he can help companies make money in a time of recession.

Abraham will share his methodology as the keynote speaker at Utah Valley University's 2009 Entrepreneurial Business Conference, themed "Profit in Bad Times," Friday, April 17, at the Sorensen Student Center.

"Jay has been the most profound and popular speaker at many great business conferences and his ability to get to the heart of a problem and find a solution is quite uncanny," UVU entrepreneur in residence Mark Stoddard said.

Abraham has spent the last 25 years solving problems and significantly increasing the bottom lines of some 10,000 clients in more than 400 industries worldwide. He has seen and dealt with every type of business imaginable, and he's studied and solved every kind of business question, problem, challenge and opportunity.

This special conference is for business leaders, new and expanding business owners, and key employees to get the latest information, skills and best practices that can help a business not only survive but prosper in a recession.

In addition to Abraham, 14 additional speakers will offer their expertise in subjects ranging from "Profiting from Smart Marketing" to "Profiting from Effective and Measureable Advertising" to "Profiting by Finding Funding."

Other topics to be discussed are: Powerful Internet Techniques and Strategies; The 12 Most Common Marketing and Advertising Errors; Cash Flow; Lean Your Company; Funding; Strategies and Opportunity Identification and The International Market.

The conference will begin with a networking breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Friday, April 17, and will continue with Abraham’s keynote address followed by four tracks featuring top experts and entrepreneurs before concluding at 5 p.m.

Tuition for the event for pre-registered participants is $195 plus an additional $20 registration fee, while tuition for walk-ups is $195 plus an additional $40 registration fee. Included in the fees are breakfast, lunch, one-on-one with speakers, parking and a full program.

Additional details and registration is available online at www.uvu.edu/entrepreneurs.
