UVU Off-Campus Sites Offer Classes for Fall Semester

As the Utah Valley University Fall semester begins on August 27, UVU’s off-campus sites and Weekend College are also beginning their Fall classes.

"The Office of Extended Studies has partnered with several academic departments on campus to facilitate bachelor degree programs aimed at non-traditional students," said Beth Winkler, from the UVU Office of Extended Studies.

Off-campus sites are located in Lehi (UVU North), Spanish Fork (UVU South) and Orem (UVU West) and are designed to help working students complete their degrees around their busy schedules. The courses are offered at a university-level and taught by qualified university instructors.

“Utah Valley University makes it possible for me to get an education and be able to still work and afford to live,” said Alan Cottle, UVU senior majoring in behavioral science. “The teachers are all very knowledgeable and very friendly and willing to assist students. Without the Office of Extended Studies at UVU, I wouldn’t be able to get the education I feel I need.”

UVU North, located at Lehi Junior High School, offers 17 evening courses. At UVU South, located at Spanish Fork High School, 26 evening courses are available. UVU West, located at the National Guard Building west of UVU’s main campus, offers 79 day and evening courses. The courses include many general education classes.
UVU’s Weekend College is on the main Orem campus and includes Friday evening and Saturday morning classes. More than 80 courses are offered, including many upper-division classes.
