Utah Valley State College President William A. Sederburg will be presented the 2007 Parry D. Sorensen Communicator of the Year award from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) at the Golden Spike Awards Nov. 7 at noon in Salt Lake City, Utah.
“I’m obviously very pleased and honored to get this recognition,” President Sederburg said. “But it really is easy to communicate when UVSC has such a great story to tell.”
The Golden Spike Awards is an annual event presented by PRSA and the International Association of Business Communicators of Utah. The award recognizes excellence from Utah’s public relations and corporate communications professionals.
The luncheon and awards presentation will be held in the Wasatch Room of the 23rd floor event center of the Wells Fargo Building on 299 S. Main.
