The annual President’s Cup Golf Tournament will be held Oct. 1 at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah. The cost is $250 for an individual, or $1000 to sponsor a team or hole. The proceeds from the tournament will benefit the UVSC student internship program.
"As we move towards developing communities of engaged learners, the internship program is central to create student commitment to their profession and professional development," said UVSC President William A. Sederburg.
Those who participate will have the opportunity to interact with community, educational and political leaders, as well as learn more about soon-to-be Utah Valley University. Helping the internship program is also one of the most effective means of enhancing students’ educational experience while furthering their career goals.
Breakfast and registration begin at 8 a.m., with scramble play scheduled for 9 a.m. A luncheon and awards ceremony will follow the completion of the tournament. Awards will include Utah Valley University apparel including t-shirts, polo shirts, hats, as well as electronics and golf equipment.
