Clay Wilkes, founder and CEO of Galileo Processing will be speaking as part of UVSC’s Technology Lecture series at 11:30 a.m. on October 18 in room 404 of the Computer Sciences and Engineering Building.
In the past, Wilkes worked as a programmer with Novell and IBM, where he helped develop Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) technology. Prior to founding Galileo Processing, Wilkes created another business called I-link, which marketed VOIP. He will be speaking on how to build a technology-based business from scratch.
“We feel fortunate that Clay is able to take the time from his busy schedule to share his expertise with our technology students here at UVSC,” said David Johnson, associate dean of the school of technology and computing.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
