Lew Cramer, president and CEO of the World Trade Center of Utah, is coming to speak as part of the Executive Lecture Series November 15 at 12 p.m. in the Ragan Theater. This specific Executive Lecture Series is being featured during Global Engagement Week, sponsored by the Department of International Affairs.
Cramer’s speech is titled, “Advice for a Global Career." He will be giving advice on how to break into international business and will be sharing stories from his life and how he got to where he is today.
Cramer has a wealth of experience with international trade. He received his bachelor’s degree at BYU and master’s from the University of Southern California. Most recently, he was a managing director of a strategic business firm in Washington D.C. and has served as the director general of the U.S. & Foreign Commercial Service.
“Lew is a well wired expert,” said Maryna Storrs, coordinator of international affairs. “With the government trying to push more international business into Utah, Cramer is doing an excellent job interacting with other companies internationally. If you attend, expect to pick up a handful of advice on how to successfully make it into international business. He is a great example for students who want to pursue a career in this field.”
