UVSC Presents Annual Winter Ballroom Dance Concert
The UVSC Ballroom Dance Company will present its 16th annual Winter Concert December 1, 2 and 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ragan Theater.
The four time Open British Champion performers return to the stage for a new winter spectacular. The performance will feature American smooth style national champion David Moon, performing a special solo with UVSC’s Giselle Rasheta. The dance company’s winning medley, “Black Pearl,” will also be featured. The performances will include the tour team, reserve team and backup team, dancing various styles and formations.
“UVSC’s Ballroom Dance Company has a very high talent and success level that has developed a great reputation not only in Utah but internationally,” said UVSC Ballroom Dance Company Director Scott Asbell. “The company has attracted dancers from Italy, Germany, New Zealand, France, England, Japan and South Africa.” Asbell has overseen the company for more than 15 years.
