UVSC Professor of Art and Visual Communications Steve Bule will be the featured guest speaker at the Phoenix Museum of Art in Phoenix, Ariz., November 18, for a community celebration of art. Bule will deliver a 40-minute lecture on a 15th century Renaissance terracotta sculpture by Andrea Della Robbia, which the museum recently purchased.

“For me it’s a real honor and it’s a great honor to represent UVSC and be recognized on the academic level,” Bule said.

Bule earned a Ph.D. in history of art from Ohio State University, a BA in history of art and a BA in Italian from Brigham Young University.  Dr. Bule specializes in Italian Renaissance art history, primarily researching archives in Italy.
