Part-time Jobs Fair at UVSC
Utah Valley State College’s annual Part-time Jobs Fair will take place August 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the P.E. Concourse and Hall of Flags on UVSC’s Orem campus. The fair will feature a variety of on- and off-campus employers for full- and part-time employment opportunities available to UVSC students.
With the goal of helping students meet employers, network and find jobs, the fair is a collection of 54 perspective employers gathered from around the area providing contact and job opportunities. Representatives from such employers as Brighton Resort, Hotel Park City, Dillard’s, Kelly Services, RC Willey, Jiffy Lube and Kara Chocolates will be available to answer questions and provide information. Six UVSC departments will also participate in the jobs fair with representatives from Academic Tutoring, Human Resources, School, College & University Partnership, Sorensen Student Center, Career Services & Student Employment and Utah’s Statewide GEAR UP Education Program.
“The fair is a way for students to network with these employers to find out what they have to offer,” said Gary Gardner, manager of the Jobs Fair from Career Services & Student Employment. “There will be a variety of employers which will give the students an idea of what jobs are available. Students should come if they want to find some good employment opportunities.”
