Employers Assemble on UVSC Campus for Career Fair
Utah Valley State College invites the extended community to attend to the bi-annual Internship & Career Fair September 26 in the Grande Ballroom where more than 75 potential employers will be available to meet with students, alumni and friends. Targeting UVSC alumni and soon-to-be-graduates, perspective employers will be on hand to answer questions and provide answers from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
With the intention to help students meet employers, network and find jobs, the Career Fair is a collection of perspective employers gathered from around the world providing contact opportunities for UVSC students and alumni. Recruiters from the various employment companies, such as Intermountain Healthcare, Layton Construction, Dell, Inc., FBI and Flextronics Asia, will be available to answer questions and provide information. Interested students should be prepared with hardcopies of his/her resume, although some recruiters may instruct you to submit the resume online.
“The career fair is a great place to network and explore possibilities,” said Keith Lue, career fair manager. “I recommend that you bring a positive, proactive approach to the job search and treat everyone as someone who could potentially help you get closer to fulfilling your career dreams.”
