President and CEO of ContentWatch Inc. to Speak During Global Engagement Week

As part of the International Affairs Office’s Global Engagement Week, Jack Sunderlage, President and CEO of ContentWatch Inc., will speak at the Reed and Christine Halladay Executive Lecture Series Nov. 16 at 12 p.m. in the Ragan Theater. The topic of his speech will be “Utah: An Emerging Player in the Expanding Global Economy.”

Sunderlage’s speech will address the challenges and opportunities in corporate dealings internationally, as well as the need to have a business community that is globally aware and prepared to deal internationally.

“Any students who have aspirations to have international contacts or international experiences in the future will benefit from hearing him speak,” said Rusty Butler, associate vice president of International Affairs. “Our community here in this part of the state is very dependant upon our international experiences for commerce, education and religious reasons. We’re very tightly tied to the international community and therefore it would be to the community’s benefit to learn more about the global economy of Utah.”

Sunderlage has considerable experience in the international arena, working currently for ContentWatch Inc., a provider of Internet management software and services for families and businesses around the world. He has also served as vice president of global accounts for Compaq Computers, chairman of the board of the World Trade Center, Utah, and as chairman of the Utah Information Technology Association, an association of companies who do business on an international scale. Sunderlage is also a member of UVSC’s National Presidential Advisory Board.
