In an effort to clarify our current Hex code dilemmas. It seems the Hex codes given by Rare are rather far off from what actually matches on the screen. Read on...
Here is what Rare said based on what is in our current UVU Logo Style Guide:

If you are in Adobe Photoshop and use the "color picker", then the color library, book: "Pantone solid to process coated" the hex colors differ from those from Rare. (You can see Hex equivalents by hitting "picker" again):
Pantone 575PC = #4c721d (not #557630 as currently on sheet)
Pantone 383PC = #b2bb1e (not #a2ad00 as currently on sheet)
Pantone 350PC = #004812 (not #284e36 as currently on sheet)
So... lets compare what these look like. And for fun lets add the Hex for Web conversion using software called Colorpic:
| Using colorpic | Using Adobe Photoshop Pantone solid to process coated | Rare |
| #4a721c | #4c721d | #557630 |
| #b1bb1e | #b2bb1e | #adad00 |
| #014713 | #004812 | #284e36 |
I think it gets more dramatic when we do the complementary colors:
